Refund policy

How refunds work across all our services, when they are available, and how to request one.

KEY POINTS

1. Our promise

We want you to love what we create for you. This policy covers all our services, including book cover design, book interior formatting, and writing. If you are not happy with our work, you can ask for a full refund any time before you approve it.

2. Unlimited revisions

Revisions are unlimited while your project is active, based on your original brief. If something is not right, tell us and we will gladly fix it. If you would rather not continue, you can request a refund instead.

A major change to the project scope or the original requirements after the first draft is a new direction, not a revision, so it is not covered by unlimited revisions.

3. When you can get a full refund

You can request a full refund on any order, as long as you have not yet approved the work and received your final files.

If we need to cancel your order before starting work, you also receive a full refund.

4. When refunds are not available

After approval and delivery. Once you approve the work and we deliver your final files, the order is complete and can no longer be refunded.
Inactive orders. If we do not hear from you for 30 days, your order is automatically marked as complete, as explained in our Terms of Service.
Add-on fees for completed work. Fees for extras we have already delivered, such as rush delivery or post-delivery revisions, are not refundable.
Fair use of revisions. Unlimited revisions are there to help us get your project just right. In the rare case that a refund is requested after many rounds of revisions, we will review it with you individually and may not be able to offer one. We also ask that all requests stay respectful and reasonable.

5. Custom illustrations

Custom illustrations are the one exception. They are drawn from scratch for your book, so refunds depend on how far the artwork has progressed:

Before the initial sketch is finalized	Full refund
After the initial sketch is finalized	50% refund
After detailing and coloring	25% refund
After final approval and delivery	No refund

This reflects the time and original artwork that go into each bespoke piece.

6. How to request a refund

1.Email support@bookcoverhub.com or use our contact form with your order details and the reason for your request.
2.We review your request and reply by email.
3.Once approved, your refund is processed within 3 to 7 business days to your original payment method. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.

7. After a refund

When a refund is issued, all rights to the work return to Book Cover Hub. You may no longer use, publish, or share the work or any drafts from the project.
