Every Book Cover Hub cover is designed by a human. We do not use AI to generate the artwork on your cover, and we do not plan to.
We know AI art is a hot topic, and we respect that authors hold different views on it. This page explains where we stand and why, so you know exactly what you are getting.
Clear rights for your cover. AI image generators are trained on huge collections of existing images, and there is no way to trace where the parts of a generated image came from. That leaves real questions about who owns the result and whether it borrows from someone else’s work. We would rather your cover stand on solid ground, so we build it from properly licensed stock images and original artwork.
Respect for artists. Many artists, including us, are concerned about work being used to train AI models without permission or payment. We do not think that is fair, and we will not build our business on it. Artists deserve credit and compensation for what they create.
The human touch matters. You poured yourself into writing your book. Its cover deserves the same care. Good cover design is more than combining images. It means understanding your story, its tone, and its readers, then turning that into a single image that sells the book. That takes human judgment, intuition, and conversation.
When you work with Book Cover Hub, you get:
Routine editing tools. Your designer makes every creative decision and builds your cover by hand. Standard editing software now use machine learning features for routine clean-up tasks, such as removing a background or retouching a photo. They never create the imagery, concept, or composition of your cover.
Images you provide. Some authors ask us to use AI-generated images they created themselves. That is your choice, and we are happy to work with them. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for the rights to any image you supply, and that copyright protection for AI-generated images is still uncertain in many countries.
Behind the scenes. We may use AI tools for administrative work, such as project management. That never touches the creative work on your cover.
